After telling my friend about Laura Jane Grace and about the new Rolling Stone article featuring her and her upcoming life-changing events, she promised to give me the magazine since she’s subscribed to RS. And today, I finally got my hands on it and I just finished reading it.
I cried. I just started crying and crying while listening to Against Me! and reading the heartfelt article. I am feeling this really weird sensation where I feel to proud of her for her bravery and then I feel so crushed thinking about how hard it was for her to live hidden away and keeping all these feeling to herself. And I know this happens all the time, in similar and different situations, but this struck a chord. It just shines more light on certain important aspects of the human being and being true to, not only everything and everyone else, but to oneself.
Such caliber. To have the guts to come forward into the spotlight with something so personal and important just when people most need it. I can’t feel anything but respect and compassion for her. I love her. Such lovely human being. I am beyond proud to be a fan. And I know for a fact that I will still continue follow Against Me! and Laura for as long as time.
I’m really looking forward to meeting Laura Jane Grace and I wish her nothing but the best.
